I have 3 computers that are all connected wirelessly and are able to share files. All have files and
printer sharing enabled also. I have my laptop here that's connected to a USB printer. I shared
the printer and just called it Printer. I tried to connect to this printer from one of the other
computers and added it via Network->Server option. I typed in \\laptopsComputername\Printer and it
automatically changed the shared name to the actual printer name I have on my laptop. I didn't
care since it was still detected/seen. So I printed out a document from that oth...

Ever since Microsoft released SP2 I got realy annoyed by the fact the every single click has to be
verified because the operating system thinks you are stiill a noob. One of the more annoying
"features" is that windows asks everytime I want to open an executable that I downloaded or I want

My computer has been acting in a weird way for some time, and I don't remember doing anything
that could cause this hardware-wise. I'll try to describe it: After some time powered on, the
system suddenly *poof* shuts down in a harsh way. I press the Power button but it doesn't turn
on. Then, I remove the power cable from it's back, wait for some hour(s) and turn it on ok,
until it turns off again. I'd risk also to say that the 'uptime' I get after a shutdown

This is to quickly flush the DNS catche on your computer via command prompt (cmd-easy search for
vista users). When you open up cmd make sure you are running it as an administratior and type the
following in exactly as is!: ipconfig /flushdns You will see right below that (after you pres
enter after that code) it will say something like it's completed. Now re-start your internet

Hey, I have Photoshop 7 on 1 of the computers in my house. In another one of the computers in my
house, (which dosent have photoshop) I want to also get Photoshop7 on that computer. I bought a usb
flashdisk(kingston 512MB). If I go to My computer/file,document, adobe,photoshop7, and drag that
into my USB flash disk. And then take that USB flash disk and then put it into the other computer

Okay, you know when your computer freezes, and you can't unfreeze it? I have found 2 ways to

Hi, is there any way I can add more IDE ports to my computer? I'm building a computer from

Does anybody know a good program that can record sound directly from the computer without having to

hi,, just today i cleaned my CPU fan and cleaned HotSink.. and after that my pc wont start.. fans
run in normal speed.. but not high speed (generally in startup for first 2 sec it run slow speed..
than run on high speed) and even my screen is not getting any ... like not attachend with my pc..

There are always left over files on your computer when you were surfing the web, or doing other
things. Im not going into detail about that, but there is a very good freware trial programm, called
ccleaner. This programm can not only delete these files(sometimes more than 50mb ) no, it can also
repair parts of your computer. If for example a programms picture is still in the start menu, and
the programm itself is actually gone, ccleaner will delete the pics properly! No hasty work needed.
