I am soon about to get paid hosting, dont worry - its computinghost. Could someone tell me about connecting domains to sub domains.
When i get the hosting it is going to host for a few websites that i am producting for income. So i want them to be all with their own domains and some of them will have subdomains. But where does it all original. At the moment i have astahsot hosting so its organicbmx.asthost.com and when i get paid hosting will i get sometihng like organicbmx.computinghost.com. Then do i make subdomains like site1.organicbmx.computinghost and then have them as the path for www.site1.com
Im struggleing to explain but if someone understand could they tell me if this is how it is going to work or even if it is possible. thanks |

First of all all your subdomains would be tied to your domain in this case computinghost(whatever extension .com .org and so on) So Just like here I have a subdomain called portedmods.{b]astahost.com[/b]ith astahost.com being the domain and portedmods being the subdomain I also have a subdomain that takes a different approach like dhost.info and then my folder which in my case is stevedemarcus that is addressed by http:// dhost.info/stevedemarcus/steve/index.php. The scheme is set up by the domain owner through the DNS (Domain name server) in this case you are the one to make that determination on how your domain is accesses by your subdomain users... There should be instructions on setting this up by your domain host for you but if you have problems try back here to find out more.

New Site Of Mine
Some questions (5) I'm a huge huge music fan, and decided my next project (now that I have catalogued my 1000 or so
albums) should be to set up a music website. After much deliberation I decided to set one up,
containing album track listings, titbits or useful(less) information, cd covers, links to artists
websites, etc. My thought is, I can list over 1000 albums (getting the info from my own
collection), so do I categorise them and put a lot on one page, with a linking menu at the top, or
