| | Well, i found it really hard to keep my hosting account active, because of my education (i attend college) and it's very time demanding, so i bought a hosting service, that way i don't have to suffer!!!!!
I'm really thankful with astahost, the service is great, and i want to keep participating in the forums... and i don't want to waste astahost hosting space if i'm not going to use it...
What do i have to do????

I'm sure we're all very sad to hear you're leaving us. But if you really want to terminate your account, you can go to http://www.astahost.com/process/ and do what you gotta do. I've never tried it but I'm guessing it works. If in a few years to come you still remember us please come by and say hi.

After reading your post, I deleted my hosting account too. Yes, education is a priority. Don't worry, astahost, I'll still post here often. I'm thinking of purchasing a paid hosting account in computinghost .......

I'd say you need to work your credits up until you get four or more and your account gets unblocked, then try deleting it. Or you could email them at the included address and ask them to delete your account for you. Sorry to see you go, good luck with your studies Same to you, nybb

New Hosting - Dns Help
about DNS (2) Ok so my name is finally in red... (yay!!! thanks!!!) and I of course went to create my hosting
account... everything perfect. Now I have some questions about the domain and DNS: 1) I have my
own DNS servers using DNSPARK. The thing is, according to the instructions I should change my
Nameservers for the astahosts ones, bypassing my dns server completely. I was gonna ask if it's
possible to use my DNS server and point my domain to the IP provided by you, I did it and at least I
can see the "success" page, where it says "this page is hosted at astahost". I want to u....
Astahost Problem
(16) I have been having trouble with astahost for the past few days but now it is worse then it has been.
I think I may have gotten banned but I have enough host credits. Whenever I go onto my website or
cpanel (or anyone else’s website that is hosted on astahost). I get: The domain "www.
.astahost.com" is invalid. Here is an example: http://faqs.astahost.com/ Does anyone know what is
wrong? Has anyone else noticed this problem? I just wanted to bring it to your attention. It seems

server (including the gamma.xisto.com address) and its starting to annoy me. my brother "co-owns" a

Blocked From My Own Account
HELP! (12) Ok this is really strange. I am blocked from accessing my own site and cPanel. When I go to
http://portal.trap17.com/ or http://portal.trap17.com/cpanel/ , it can't connect to the
server. I tried it at school, both cPanel and main site, and it works fine. Initially I thought it
was because I installed ZoneAlarm on my computer so it blocked me but I tried disabling everything

advertisements were banned but I have a feeling that they are. Either way I have reported several

Hosting Not Coming Back
(7) I was inactive for a few days and had negative credit. Then, I came back and posted until I had 11
credits, which should have allowed my site to go back up automatically. Unfortunately, this is not

Did My Account Get Hacked Into?
Some suspicious issues!!! (17) Ok first of all I had this issue of my cPanel/FTP password not working:

didn't change any settings of user authentication, etc. So then I reset my password using the
forum thing under "Free Web Hosting". It supposedly "failed", so I didn't use 10 credits. When I
accessed my FTP account to upload some PHP files that I corrected, I found this new directory/file
under my public_html folder: /9xYenBai.Com/UploadMusic/Honey.wma So I raised security, went to
that website....

Does astahost need more? (18) Well I have been here at astahost a while now, and after being a member of the forums, there just
seems something about them that doesn't quite make them as enjoyable to be in. To me it seems
like the forums contain a lot of posts that are very repetative, even many topics that seem to
repeat themselves... To me it seems like maybe there should be some more moderators, and the
moderation should be stricter than it is. I just don't find it as fun to participate in a
community where a lot of the posts seem to be spamish... Does anybody else feel this way?....

Why Is My Account Suspended?

Outgoing mail broken after upgrade to paid account (3) I just upgraded mistymanor.astahost.com to a paid account. Since the upgrade, outgoing mail is not
working. Specifically, for mistymanor.astahost.com, using mail.mistymanor.astahost.com with
eric@mistymanor.astahost.com as the username, 587 for the port number, and the appropriate password,
sending mail from Apple Mail on OS X 10.4.8 fails. This account worked prior to the changeover.
Incoming mail still works. I have tried using "mistymanor.astahost.com" (dropping the "mail.") as
the mail server. I have tried with/without SSL. I have tried sending the message with Squ....

Re-Activating My Account

messing with domain names and it all got ****** up, so I have to terminate it and then apply again.
