Hi, i just downloaded a .bin file with limewire ( 1st cd of a game). Now the problem... how can i use this .bin file to create a cd image???

please help

Open the file with Nero Burning Rom, It wil know how to burn it

Or

If want to get something off the bin file like installing
you can use daemon tools to emulate a extra drive so you don't have to burn a disc

The .bin file should also have a /cue file with it that has teh same file name, this is an "index" of sorts for the burning software, like Nero to know the order of the files and things. Nero may be able to figure it out with out the .cue file, it's a pretty "smart" application.

this software is is exellent, it does dvd .iso's too.

Download nero and sure smart nero, it will hold your hands and take you where you wanna go... If you dont really want to burn the game into CD... I recommend you go with Daemon-tools mentioned on the previous message... itll emulate the file as a drive, so you could install you game and then just close it, or uninstall it if you will...

I say, if you wanna play your game real quick, easiest is daemon tools, without a doubt... but if you want to give it to somebody or make copies... then Nero is the easiest way to go... itll still take time to burn and all that fun stuff...

i use alcohol 120% to do this, it think it is very good though ive never used nero before, it is a trial i think but you could get the full version through bittorents if you know how to do that

Hi, is there any way to find out a file's original file type/extension? My friend gave me this
song from a Chinese series and I had to play around with the extensions until I got it working (made
it .wmv). He doesn't even know the original format, but I'm guessing he's using wmv to
use it also. I tried naming it to .mp3 and .wma to see if those work...both failed. I like to keep
all my audio files as mp3 files. Was going to look for a program to convert it to mp3, but have a
question. I highly doubt this file was originally a .wmv file since it's jus....

I have posted this somewhere before a while back, but seemed to get nowhere. I looked in the
search, but it kept giving me an error. I'm not exactly sure how to use search. Anyway, I
accidently changed the program that opens MD5 files. Someone told me to go to Start>Control
Panel>Folder Options>File Types and find the MD5 file and just restore it to it's default.
Well, there is no option for that. I was just wondering if someone could go to folder options and
tell me what it is that opens it. I am trying to download XAMMP, but it is in MD5 form. I am not....

there is alot of controversy about file sharing programs and whether they should be legal or not.
