Antivirus:
Kaspersky Antivirus Personal is the best antivirus i ever used, thats why he is in firts place here. He is fast, Simple, Updated all the time and trustfull. The best part is that he uses really low system resorces.

Kaspersky Antivirus Personal Pro Its the same as first version, but has some other features as: Blocks port scanning, Invisible mode (SmartStealth®) and Real-time protection of Microsoft Office applications. And the name has ''Pro'' in the end.

Avast! Home Its really good too, his design looks like a media player, and its more lite than kaspersky! But what is amazing, is that is free!
His features are: P2P and IM Shields, Simple User Interface, Antivirus kernel, Automatic updates and a lot more!

Avast! Professional The diferences between home edition are: Storing the scan results (history), PUSH updates, Script Blocker, Virus notifications (task-based), Task scheduler (running scheduled scans) and its Shareware.

Norton AntiVirus its the most heavy one, i used for over a year, but when i discovered Kaspersky i stop using it. His detection rates are really good, but the virus removal feature is not good, always saying: '' cannot delete this threat''. The only way to remove a virus with him is to start windows in safe mode.

Norton Internet Security Its a good security pack, the problems is that, only the antivirus is heavy, so imagine a hole pack with it. your computer wont even start.

AVG Free Edition a lot of people uses it, but i dont like. its to simple and dont have much features. But its free. Has some limitations as: receives updates via a lower priority service. Priority updating via ultra reliable Akamai servers is only available for purchased products, does not offer advanced testing options, such as automatic healing, password-protected archives reporting, adjustment of scan process priority and many others.

AVG Professional Its the shareware version, has a lot more options than the home edition, but i dont like it too. Its too Ugly.

Panda Titanium is the only antivirus that i used less than one week, because when i instaled him, i forgot uninstalling kaspersky, so it happend a compatibility problem between those two and my windows crashed! so i had to reinstall windows again. But when i used panda for some Hours after reinstalling windows a liked his design, but is too heavy.

Bitdefender Standard Some people says its the best, but in my computer stopped sometimes during scan, so i prefer kaspersky.

PC-cillin Internet Security Good pack with firewall, antivirus and anti-spyware. Simple to use and pretty.

McAfee VirusScan is not much effective and when your subscription is ending he start showing popups each 10 minutes!
Anti-Spywares:
Webroot Spy Sweeper is the best anti-spyware ever! its too good! the only problem is that he is a little havy, but its perfect to run a full scan once a week, finds everything.

Ad-Aware SE Personal is good too, its simple and fast. His detection rates arent so good as Spy Sweeper but at least its free!

Spybot - Search and Destroy used by many people, its free too. I dont like him because its really simple and ugly.

Microsoft Antispyware ''Windows Defender (Beta 2) is the final name for Microsoft’s antispyware solution. '' is very simple and dont have much options. And is not much effective.

Firewalls:
ZoneAlarm Anti-Spyware its the only firewall i ever used, i so i think its good, protection agains hackers and spy-wares too.
