I am sure that this kind of thing can be a little dangerous in regards to it leeking and screwing up the computer, but i am sure that they have thouroughly tested it and made it as secure as possible. I don't think they could release it unless they were happy with the results. They possibly might have released it if it were not up to scratch, but i don't wanna get sued for liable so...  As for the results of this method... i am not really sure. They really have sold the idea that is great on their site, and it makes you believe that it is great. Being as it was designed for their specific computer system i am sure that it has to work well otherwise they might have seen a loss in profit. That said it does sound extremely cool, very inovative. I too would like to hear from someone who has this system. overture.

NO the liquid used in L cooling is does not affect electrical stuff. (dos not conduct electricity) well at least some of the cooling liquids. But if u install it corectly it won't make any trouble.. but unfortunately there are a large number of disadvantages to liquid cooling in computer systems these days. Some of the most prominent disadvantages are size and technical skills required to install a kit. Liquid cooling is still only really effective for those people who are interested in over clocking their computers well beyond what air cooling will allow , so if your computer is working good as it is u don't need it .

AlienWare 7500 Liquid Cooled
Alienware Liquid Cooled Computer
Instead of me typing a ton of techy stats of what my pc contains, just goto www.Alienware.Com and search for alienware 7500. It has nvidia sli 680i geforce mutherbored, 4gb ddr2 800MHZ DIMM RAM Modules (2 x 1024), 8600 gts nvidia gfx card, 2.66.7GHZ (Pentium III {Xeon Processors) btw to those noobs THESE ARE WAY FASTER THAN P4's FYI, look up XEON and You will see I am right... Anyway and It's liquid cooled, from my understanding the liquid cooling in mine ONLY cools the main CPU and nothing more. My collected info could be a bit off, but if it is my apologies... Iam getting quad core 3GHZ intel in 2 days so the cooling might help, I know it will help system performance as well as wear on the cpu, so anyway oh and getting an OC'ed GTX gfx card also 1GB DDR3 Ram it's a geforce, rated very high crysis at top resolution played at around 52-61 fps on a very comparable sytem to mine. So anyway enjoy your pc experience!

Computer Not Boot Up
hardware issue? (6) hi,, just today i cleaned my CPU fan and cleaned HotSink.. and after that my pc wont start.. fans
run in normal speed.. but not high speed (generally in startup for first 2 sec it run slow speed..

Computer Microphone
(3) I have a computer headset that connects to my sound card. One connects to the audio and the other to
the mic. They both work but the only problem is that when i use the mic the voice on it comes out
soo extremely soft that you would have to turn your speakers on all the way just to barely hear it.
I checked the software that came with my soundcard which is a soundblaster X16 Live card btw. I
just want to be able to turn the volume up on it so i can use my microphone. Please pst if there are
any questions.....

Computer Turns Self Off

Old Computer in need of a new OS
(15) Ok, well I have an old computer...it is a Pentium 166Mhz computer with 128MB of ram, a 20GB hard
drive, and a 2MB video card. I want to put a new operating system on it (i was thinking maybe

Computer Bugs
I've never seen anything this primative with PCs... (9) My PC had been making strange noises and running slower, so I assumed it was time to clean the
fan/cooling fins. I opened the side panel thing to see cockroaches coming in and out of an open PCI
slot. So I got a PCI slot cover. When I moved the PC to my desk I found it look about like rat's
nest inside. Roaches were swarming the PC Fan, Cards, Disk Drives, Power Supply, etc. Probably
hundreds maybe a thousand. I've never seen so dusty a CPU fan in my life, the all the cooling
fins were totally covered in dust and crap. I cleaned the fins and the fan. Its runnin....

Anyone have any info on Alienware's new facelift? (4) I recently just purchased an Alienware desktop system, and after about 2 months or so they released

Computer Overheating
(3) I am pretty sure my computer is overheating as it averages 70 C when idling, after I cleaned the fan
out with a vacuum cleaner. I am not sure this is average for a 3.0 GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor
but I'm sure it isn't as my laptop hovers around 40 C. The hard disk in it recently stopped
working and I was wondering if it could have overheated as well and if there is anything I can do to
restore the files off it or at least get the (or some) files of it. Any recomendations for a new
fan? I am looking to spend no more then AU$50 and would like a good fan that w....
Dell Computer "shuts Down" When Opening Email
(31) I have a Dell Optiplex GX 270 computer here and the problem is that it shuts down randomly when
viewing email in Outlook. It doesn't seem to do this when doing anything else online. Could a
network cause issue this kind of problem? I'm going to see if the other machines are doing this
as well. The funny thing is that the machine itself still seems to be running. The light on the
monitor is orange, but the computer's light is green and the fan is still spinning in the back.

Computer Suddenly Turning Off
Well it seems my computer doesn't like me. Sad huh? (28) My computer has been acting in a weird way for some time, and I don't remember doing anything
that could cause this hardware-wise. I'll try to describe it: After some time powered on, the
system suddenly *poof* shuts down in a harsh way. I press the Power button but it doesn't turn
on. Then, I remove the power cable from it's back, wait for some hour(s) and turn it on ok,

Adding More IDE Ports In Computer
(18) Hi, is there any way I can add more IDE ports to my computer? I'm building a computer from

My Summer Is Ruined!
Please help, computer down (8) Ok, I was playing Age of Mythology on my computer and then suddenly my computer shut down. I had no
idea what happened. Me and my brother opened the CPU (the big rectangle thing) and started to check
each component. When we turn on the computer, there is nothing on the monitor, also, there are no
sounds, and the hard-drive is not spinning (guessing from it's sound). Does anyone know how to
troubleshoot this problelm? Or should I contact a computer-hardware shop for professional help?
Please reply asap, that's my gaming computer, so I really need it bad or else I ....
