For example, one is:

and can I now have another one that is:
site.astahost.com
??
I just don't want to do anything wrong. Thank you!  I wasn't sure how connected this site and trap17 were, because the forums appear to be the same... just wondering. If anyone could help me out I would be very appreciative!! |

well astahost and trap17 seem pretty connected, everyone talks about it and the same company and all, and lots of stuff u find here was made for trap17. i actually have no idea if you could have hosting on both though, i spose you could... maybe, seeing as they are still different sites.

Nice find haha, although personally I still think it should only be allowed to have an account at one or the other, but luckily for the people wanting both I don't make those decisions I think the problem was it was believed up until that point by most people to be not allowed, I wouldn't be surprised it there are topics where we all assumed that and just didn't have someone higher up show up to set us straight haha. Yay for being allowed to dual-account

Yes, it is perfectly acceptable to have an account at Astahost as well as an account at Trap17. I have that, only I don't have the time to make posts for both forums  The account here is the one that is hosted, the account at Trap17 is just a lurker You cannot use the same username to be hosted on both sites because they are run by the same server or something. So therefore you can't have firefoxrocks.astahost.com AND firefoxrocks.trap17.com because it will cause complication problems. But you can still post with the same username on the FORUM. Astahost's forums deal with computer and technical topics more, Trap17 forums are rather less technical and are suitable for people who discuss real life stuff.

i have only been on the trap17 forum once, i wouldnt want to bother having an account on both really.

Reactivating Hosting Account
Had a 30points hosting account, then left AstaHost of a while, and now (3) Well, about a year ago I did apply for the 30 credits hosting account, here in AstaHost. I kept my
site up for some months, but after some time the site idea kind of died, I wasn't able to post
regurlarly enough to keep ti up and running. Now, I gathered up with a friend to start a new and

I couldn't find a closer category (2) I apologize for placing this topic in the wrong category; however, I could not find one that would

at Astahost for programming in GLUT. Since then I have moved to trap17 and have wanted to continue
my series; however, I was told that I was unable to just copy my tutorials over there and since I
wasn't thinking clearly I had forgotten to ask if I could move them there. So my question now
is if I'm allowed to move my tutorials over to trap17 as long as I delete them....

Having problems with domains (5) Hello, Well for a quite long time, almost a year I was having different problems with my domains,
here is the problem: my main subdomain I got with astahost works every time the server isn't on
downtime, but with top level domains like .net and uni.cc, for a month now almost everyday for about
6 hours I can't access my sites and I get 404 error, I thought it was my ISP stupid DNS stuff,
because I could get to the sites using Google proxy, but the domains don't really always work
for other people from my country on different ISP, so I though this is something....

This Account Has Been Suspended
(6) I think there has been an error with my account credits. I loged in yesterday and I had credits for
2.6 days, and a few minutes ago my account and website was active, but suddenly a "This Account Has
Been Suspended" error message appeared. In the main page now it sais a have (-)4.02 (Negative)
hosting credits. Is this an error? Maybe I'm wrong... EDIT: Ooops, maybe its for my latest
post, but now it sais I have credist for 1.26 days, wich is more accoring with my calculus. Thanks

/var partition on this server is running out of disk space. This WHM operation has been temporarily

How Long Does It Take

withdrew it for it was taking too long (3 days) in his opinion. This isnt at all directed to that
specific issue , but it brings up the question, how long does it take to approve a request? Trap17
gets it done in 1-4 days, can see that from looking at thier approved, but asta's are way all
over the place so its hard to tell. Im actually beginning to write posts in notepad and saving them,
for once i am approved, all the points i have accumulated in the time waiting will ....

Trap17 Info Wanted
(4) I am having a hard time keeping up my posts here at Astahost. I think it is a little more advanced
than I am. From what I gather, Trap17 is less technical in nature. When I went to the websites for
Asta and Trap, they were essentially the same except for maybe bandwidth and MB. Is that info
