Hi barkwally,Nice images. I would like to make some critics, mainly regarding the shaders. You should try to improve your shaders with some bump/specular in order to be more realistic. There are some great sites over the web where you can find good resources and tutorials. I recommend you to take a look (if you haven't did yet) to the cgtalk.com. It's a huge community where you can find go... read more.
did you model all these yourself? or just posed and rendered?
i must say some are quite good... i personaly didnt like the scorpion one much.. but each to his own.. it was well done.. nice depth..
Wow, did you model them yourself? Did you use 3ds Max, Maya, Lightwave, etc.? The lighting on the last one was great!
Truly unique images. I can't say I've seen a hand candle holder until now
Keep up the good work and you might end up working for Pixar or some computer game company
Thanx, that is wat I want, to work at some big Computer graphic company.
QUOTE(barkwally @ May 23 2005, 12:17 AM) Cinema 4D? Why would you call a 3d modelling program 4d? Or did I miss something (as usual)? Anyway, very nice pictures. I like the screwdriver scorpions ^^
Wow! Really nice work and the fact that you did all of it yourself is quite amazing! My favorite would be the last one because of the hall stucture and lighting, can you please render just that hallway so I can use it as my desktop? I really love 3d models of environments...
I dont know why they call it Cinema 4D.
you can read about in here. www.maxon.net I cant upload more pictures here. but you can find just the background here. grs.atspace.com/alienbak.jpg QUOTE(barkwally @ May 22 2005, 12:30 PM) Hi all, I have been try to lurn 3D for a while now, I think I finily I am pretty good. Hi barkwally,
Nice images. I would like to make some critics, mainly regarding the shaders. You should try to improve your shaders with some bump/specular in order to be more realistic. There are some great sites over the web where you can find good resources and tutorials. I recommend you to take a look (if you haven't did yet) to the cgtalk.com. It's a huge community where you can find good imagens and people normally help a lot. There are some excelent artists like Suurland (www.suurland.com) that makes incredible works. Please let me know if you need help. Rgds, tuba3d
woah. really great artwork... and you modelled them all by yourself? just wanna ask... is cinema 4D that user friendly? i mean if i were to learn it, would it take me sometime... hmmm.. when designing, i only use adobe photoshop cs2, whereas i just play with the tools... thanks so much... really really nice... you have a creative mind...
Real cool! How do you make 3D images? I always woundered. So-far the only way I know is by using cad programs (autocad 2007 and solid works). But you can't make very detailed images unless you have exact measurments. Is thier a free program. I can't download solid works because I can't afford it but my school has it and that is were I used it.
Very nice renders, I tried to get into rendering at one point to improve my photoshop work but never got far D=.
These are pretty cool! If you need to make a object that has a cool kind of hand drawn style to it check out Teddy! Teddy is a program, online and offline that you can draw a circle or what ever and it morphes it into 3d. Its very good and it makes very complex models in a snap! Its realy nice to also get a Tablet, I picked up mine for 100$ on sale. So it turned out to be all good!
