| | I have read recently on technology news sites and aggregators that Windows Live Skydrive has been upgraded to 25 gigabytes of storage for each user, a five-fold increase in storage space. It is better than most free storage providers since it makes available more space and has no limit on the bandwidth consumed in file transfer, unlike some other provides e.g. Box.net, which has a 10GB per month bandwidth limit on the free accounts. However, I don't think I will be changing to the Windows Live Skydrive storage account quite yet because I prefer using the Windows Live Mesh system which automatically synchronises files for me, which I use for backup purposes in conjunction with Norton Ghost. |
