Replying to Tastes Of Music

all music litterally, even if it's not music for some. the sounds a bus makes is music.

I'll listen to music from any genre, as long as it is good. Normally in a playlist for the day I will have a nice mix of folk-rock, folk-metal, experimental, metal, electronic, synth punk, hip hop, classical, neofolk, neoclassical, rock, indie, jazz, etc.

I am normally interested in music that fuses styles from several different genres. I love when bands mix different forms of world folk music with rock/metal/punk. More generally, I like
music that pushes boundaries or completely breaks out of them. I am on a constant search for music that really doesn't fit into any current gene. I like hearing thing unlike anything I have
previously heard.

I like rock, classical, hip-hop, and a little rap.

There is a lot of types of music I like to listen to, but mostly I listen to Indie rock, or anything that isn't rap.

I like classical, pop, jazz, blues, some country, some pop, some rock.

I listen to Coldplay the most, and after that Oasis and Radiohead a bit.

I guess that is alternative rock.

Seems that this topic is quite old, but anyway, I listen to metal, mostly I like doom metal, melodic or atmo death metal is fine to me, some black metal bands, and a variety of doom metal substyles..

Rather than post plain old genres, I'd prefer to name a few of the bands I listen to on a daily basis... some of which you may make fun of, and in that case, I say "Bite me."

Mudvayne, Mushroomhead, The Mars Volta, He Is Legend, Pantera, Tool, Stone Temple Pilots, The Doors, A Perfect Circle, Cold, Tchaikovsky, Queens Of The Stone Age, Korn, System of A Down, Snot, Nirvana, Crossbreed, Meshuggah, Otep, and some other bands that, trust me, you don't know.

i listen to hiphop...REAL hiphop music...and i mean rappers with real lyrical skill...none of this Laffy taffy type stuff they play on the radio....that stuff is whack..."shake that laffy taffy" ???? c'mon now.... to quote Joe Budden "...most rap dudes dont even know what they recordin...so most of yall fans dont know what yall supportin". props to all the rappers keepin it forreal in hiphop. thats my two cents...

but other than hiphop..i listen to jazz, oldies, rock, classical...whatever sounds good.
