Moreover, are these features really useful?
I mean, aren't the Office 2000 features enough for most of standard office usage?
Looks like a great step toward the cloud, but do we really need this?

From the leaking news that this new release will include following new feature by OOB:

SharePoint Duet (OOB experience contecting SharePoint and SAP)
Suport viewing BI content via iPad devices
Web app support and market
Metro style user UI
Rights Management Services
Project Online
Visio Online
