Replying to helping you help yourself

As I'm still a little new at the forum, and still haven't got an overview to find the right theme to post, would I post this question here.

I hope that I can find some specialists here who also had tried to ad the bannerad into their Xoops. I did went into that specified trap17 link and did copied the code and added into the banner add section in the Xoops adminsystem, but I can't get it up to run.

Is there an other way to add the banner? As I would be very sad if my site would disapper someday cause inactivity at forum.

I really don't hope that I'm the only one at astahost who is using Xoops..

Have you tried reinstalling your sound card drivers / DirectX? They may have somehow gone corrupted which causes them to fail.
Can you also specify a bit more clearly what exactly and as far in detail as you can happens when your MP3 stops? Blue Screen? Shutting down? Or just complete and instant power down and black screen? Reboot after? Etc..
Also does it happen with any MP3? If I read this correctly then I take it you can't ever run more than one MP3 on your pc in a boot, since after it ends it dies. And does it also happen when you skip from one MP3 to another? Or when you pause one?

Well ive got a problem that i have asked for help before but recieved none, the problem is my computer keep turning itsself of, this happens when an MP3 ends and only then, it works fine for ages until an MP3 plays, at first it seemed to be midi files but alas it was not, i am looking for help as i have had this computer for ages and it has been working well up until now, so can anyone speculate on whats happening, i have run virus scans, check my power connection, checked CPU temperature, i have tried allot and yet still cant find a prob, this is starting to bug me, and i was wondering if help could be found, please help!

hmmm....could you describe your problem a little more like computer information ex: os, age, etc....

I've heard of this problem before, have you installed any new mp3 programs or any new programs for that matter?

Well due to the lack of members posting any more I've made this topic where ppl can just post any of their problems technology wise...And I or any other person who wants to help you while aquiring more posts can do so that way more ppl will post here get posts faster and help ppl all at once pretty good for somebody as bored as myself
