I am willing to bet that the company that is developing this battery is going to use it with some of the new flexible OLED screens and some off the new flexible circuitry. Here is something that nokia has been working on:http://www.phonemag.com/index.php/weblog/read_more/10032005_nokia_888_concept_mind_blowing/
which might incorporate this new battery. hope you like it.
The battery is still in research and development so you can not buy one so at best it will be tomorrows news, they are looking at using it for RFID technology. If you want more information on it the link is right HERE for more just read and view the photos on the battery, and there is a link to the Home Page of NEC at that link.
technology these days is getting so advanced so fast it almost makes it worthless to buy the newst technology today cuz in a month its already yesterdays news.
Yesterday's technology rules.
1. It's less expensive than the brand-new stuff. 2. I don't *need* brand-new technology in anything that I want or need. Not even portable MP3 players. And not even computers. It needs to be fairly new, sure - nobody wants a two-megabyte iPod, if they ever made 'em that small - but I don't need four gigs' worth of music. 3. It's been tested more than the brand-new stuff. I would *still* be kicking myself in the rear end had I actually had the money to invest in a minidisk player several years ago. Industry reports and idolizing fans of the technology swore that the minidisk would eventually replace CDs, but ... yeah, right.
Sound great ! I'm very interested in this. How much does it cost? Where can I find more information about that kind of battery. What's its offical website.
Sure m8, However my source is a Portuguese WebSite, Click HERE

its amazing how many things are being upgraded, so many people think that when something new is made its brand new technology but its really not this is intresting and i wont wait to learn more
My goodness - there are tons of weird and cool stuff people are inventing out there! However, do they ever become a big business? Nah - most don't. Some do, however.
For example, really small and new technologies are not going to replace Duracell or Panasonic, are they? It may take a few decades but... hmm... it could be a challenge
I doubt those things would catch on for laptops. who wants to hook up with water and gas to get power. better to use one of those $100 laptops that you can crank. or the new processors they're experimenting with that use a tenth of the power and give ten times as much processing power for the same low drain. Still too new but i think sooner or later that'll come around. and if someone could come up with a low-drain LCD screen, they would be RICH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
