More About Kontera Which Should I ChooseHi SillySoul31,

This is Jonathan from Kontera. Just to clarify Kontera's minimum payment threshold is $50, across all payment methods, including PayPal.

In terms of sharing a little bit more about our company, Kontera is the leading In-Text network, with over 15,000 publishers and 140 million unique users per month, and a great way to optimize your site.

The reason we're so effective for publishers is our Synapse engine, an algorithm that rather than just scanning for keywords can actually read your webpages for meaning. This added ability of Topical Targeting is how we're able to provide the most relevant ads for your content, leading to higher CTR and better CPC.

Another advantage of Kontera is our exclusive ad inventory from such brand names as Microsoft (I see their ads on this site), Ford, L'Oreal, Blackberry, National Geographic, Kmart, Kraft, and more. These premium, often Rich-Media ads are the most attractive to site visitors, offer the best possible CPC, and can only be found on Kontera.

For anyone who would like to become part of the Kontera network, we're currently offering new publishers a 70% revenue share, which is the best rate in the business. We're also offering new publishers a $50 bonus if they get at least 25,000 U.S. Page views during their first 30 days on the network.

Thanks,

- Jonathan Cohen

Could you please rewrite this sentence a little bit differently ? I really cannot understand what you are meaning. What is "annoying" and what do you want to end or what do you forget?

sillysoul21 already said that it is a random comment. and i think its about placing a semicolon (:) at the end of every statement in php! many new users forget inserting the semicolon after each statement and this is what sillysoul21 is saying....or atleast that's what i understood from that.

@sillysoul21: not only in php but in other languages like c,c++ we need to insert a semicolon at the end of the statement. its an important feature because it siginifies that the statement has ended and the compiler can then proceed to the next line. i know how frustrating it can be when you have written everything right but just fogot to put semicolons at the end of each statement! just get into the habit of inserting the semicolon - it will take time but you will slowly learn to insert it automatically. it will become an automatic thing and you wont forget it at all - just takes some time!

Kontera requires huge work. You need to post on this site plus many other sites where there is kontera revenue sharing websites. Kontera has paypal plus cheque option at 50$. I don;t think so that they'll allow you for 10$. Check that with the site anyway.

Infolinks on the other hand is much better than kontera. You can sign up and earn 10$ easily. But in both kontera and infolinks you need to generate a lot of visitors. I can't give you exact estimates because it depends on the keywords. You should study the keywords and create the content as per that. Once you have keyword optimized content then you need to generate the traffic. I hope this helps.

I would say, first try putting a good content withou ads, and see how many visitors you have.
Then, add some ads and see how many visitors you loose!
After that you will have an idea how many clicks you can expect having on your site, and which kind of ads you can add.

This is a good idea but I feel somehow that it won't make much difference whether or not there are ads in the site from the beginning itself.Except for the people who are totally alien to the internet, almost everyone knows how the internet ads system works and they know that clicking on the ads will support the site owner. So having ads from the beginning isn't much of a loss as the people will click on them if they like the content otherwise they will just ignore them. as long as the ads are not messing up wth the site design and blocking the site content, its fine to have them in good positions so that monetization can begin from the very start. i've seen some of my friends overseas start sites with just a single banner ad at the top or in the footer and they reported that they are getting something like 5-10 clicks per day, which is not at all bad for a beginner site. so i think its best to have ads from the starting itself.

How Many visitors is $10 worth?

A lot! I don't remember the exact number but I think it's 1 cent per click or maybe even less. So that makes a thousand clicks for getting $10. And that means you have to get more than 1500 visitors and hope that atleast thousand of them click on the ads that you placed in the website. As you can imagine, that's really a LOT of traffic for a beginning website, so before you start placing ads on your site, try to put some good content on your site in order to attract some traffic. Then you have to put in some good keywords so that you will get more traffic from search engine results. I hope you know about SEO and all that stuff. Good luck with your site, hope that you get a lot of traffic soon!

Kontera pays with PayPal.
However, you should have enough visitors, I think your revenue should be around $10 before they perform the PayPal transfer.
