You may have heard about a game called Gears of war on xbox 360. What are your opinions about it. Do you find it any good.
My opinion is that it is rubbish but a few of my friends claim that majority of people like it, so i thought I'd post this and see how many people here actually like it and what their opinions about it are.

Also you may have heard about gears of war 2 coming out. Do you think that will be any good?

I've not played this game as I don't have an XBox360. I'm not terribly good at these games anyway, so I'd expect to get annoyed by it quite quickly. I can just about manage HL2.

I don't like the game at all, it's like Cod4 and halo 3 and them games i cannot stop playing but the game play of gears of war is just so crap that when ever i see someone play it i just leave the room.
And i don't even think Gears of war 2 will be any good either.
Gears of war is basically (to me) the biggest flop in shooting games.

As long as they fix the stupid glitches in the multiplayer I won't mind playing it as my primary online multiplayer. It's the only turning me away from the game. I just hate glitches, makes the game annoying and less fun. Other than that, I pretty much like the game.

I like it, granted I havn't played that much but all in all I think it shows some things that the UT engine can do and what we can expect from later UT Engines


I like glitches, get a few friends over and push the game to the limits, find secrets in the maps, etc. there are some points where they get annoying, like in a real game, but just for kicks and giggles and a few friends in split screen(or lan of playing the PC version) they are over all fun.
