There is no setting to turn off the blur effect from within the game, however it can be turned off in the registry.

HKLM>SOFTWARE>EA GAMES>NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED>

Change "g_MotionBlurEnable" to 0 instead of 1

You've just turned off motion blur.

great find, this is very useful for people whose computer's don't have the requires specs, but still want to play the game.
