I'm having some serious computer issue, not sure its a virus or what, but I had geek squad come to my house in the past and they are very expensive. I'm in minneapolis, anyone recommend a good computer service company. I found http://www.rescuetechusa.com but i never heard of them before.
Thanks Bill This post has been edited by bravebill: Feb 2 2007, 02:17 PM |

Welcome to Astahost.
You can call them to find a price quote. If they can send a tech to service the computer in your office, that would be great. I usually don't like services that take your computer with them or ask you to drop them off. I have many clients that I help on their computer and fix the problems on the spot. Why not just post the problem here and see if we can provide any assistance? If you are not that computer savvy or don't have time to do it yourself, try that computer service site or see if there is another local computer shop you can send to get it repaired. |

I know that there's one good computer repair shop in Minneapolis but its been a while. Unfortunately, I've forgotten their name. However, just make sure that you don't send your computer to geek squad. I've seen others get ripped off by geek squad (i.e. overpricing and false diagnostics).
Just like WeaponX said, why don't you describe the problem. There are many people on the forums that probably can help. |

try to find a local geek ,may be a guy who could help you sove the problem in a few bucks and would do that in your office instead of taking your pc somewhere else, generally most of the problems could be solved just by searching the solution on the internet.i always find the solution to any computer problem on the internet because it is always helpful as there are many who had faced the same peoblem before ,but if you cant do it youll have to go with the options available

Maybe I can help you, but I am in China
Why not try to ask a friend to help you. A virus issue is not a issue for a pratical computer user. |
