i have a background in CGI programming or scripting becuase some say its scripting. I also have knowledge in using the .htaccess and .htpasswd to protect directory or file in the website. Now, here is where i need your help, if I will make a form in a html page that accept user password instead of relying on the browser to provide it for me everytime the user access the protected directory, how does I make it work using CGI Perl? I'm more particular on CGI Perl becuase I dont have any knowledge in PHP or ASP. Thats it!
