Get Firefox to check spelling in any text field. By default Firefox only checks spelling in multi-line text fields.
  • in the address bar type about:config and hit enter
  • type layout.spellcheckDefault in the filter field
  • double click on the entry and in the popup box enter 2
  • click ok
Now spell check should work in any text field.
Go to the top of the page
