Lately I have enjoyed painting with the Flash-based Graffiti application on Facebook. Sometimes I think it is fun to see what I can do with the restrictions of a simple little paint program. The only real special feature that the application has is the ability to adjust the opacity of your paint. Anyway, below are some of the images I have produced with it. If anyone else has used it, I would love to see what you have made.

Originally I had done this because of friend of mine couldn't view it in her browser and the one I had made told a story through all of the layers of the drawing. Here are the replays on youtube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=dkpZizwM_DE http://youtube.com/watch?v=0vQaYFRDFzI http://youtube.com/watch?v=Mcd55QcLx6U |

Ah. I know that face book application too. I added it and am fiddling around with it.
But some time back, I stumbled across Sketchcast.com. It is quite rudimentary and I have been hooked. I have been making a lot many of these sketchcasts (more like artcasts), and atleast it keeps me in practice during heavy work days at my job. Here are some (plugs) sketchcasts I made: http://kmaheshbhat.com/blog/sketchcast-radioactive-riddick http://kmaheshbhat.com/blog/sketchcast-darth-vader http://kmaheshbhat.com/blog/sketchcast-princess-leia-organa http://kmaheshbhat.com/blog/sketchcast-chewbacca http://kmaheshbhat.com/blog/sketchcast-fat-yoda |

Yeah the graffiti aplication lets you play them back now too. FUN! Nice drawings. They let you play back!? When did they add that? I did one yesterday - how can I check the playback functionality? And another one - do they let us embed it elsewhere like Sketchcast lets us? If that be the case, then I am totally shifting to Grafitti. |

If that be the case, then I am totally shifting to Grafitti. If you click on one of the graffiti images on someones profile it brings you to a page where you can see it larger. On that page there shouldl be a button (I think it is green} titled "Replay". Click it and it will take you to the replay. I don't really use IE, but it seems that some of my friends have had problems using the replay on Internet Explorer. The replay function was added maybe a month ago, so any of the images made prior to that will not have a replay. I haven't tinkered with it too much, but it doesn't look like they want you to embed it on other sites. |
