I have started developing in Visual Basic Express and thought it would be cool to develop a Facebook+Windows application since it looked easy. I downloaded the Microsoft Facebook Developer Toolkit and extracted it to a folder.

The problem is, I can't seem to figure out how to import/install/insert the elements of the toolkit into Visual Basic 2005 Express. I was going to follow some tutorials and stuff, but I can't seem to get through 2 steps:

1. No components/elements are added into Visual Basic 2005 Express. Was I supposed to run an installer? Or a specific place to extract the files? As you can see on http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/...se/quickstarts/, it shows you to start a new project and drag a control to the bottom of the window. But there aren't any controls to drag.

2. Provide an API and secret key. How do I sign up for one on Facebook?

So if someone could get me started on this, it would be great.
