Honestly, if you want to be screwed over time and again, ezboard is the way to go. The site got hacked, bugs are walking all over the place and the staff are a bunch of lazy people. If you ask the ezboard Staff a question, they'll be like "too F&$$ing bad, CASE CLOSED." They really do give such answers, and if you don't believe me then look at what some people had to say:

If you wanted a true testimony of how fradulent ezboard is, you're too late. Visit:

http://www.ezboardsucks.net

In conclusion, do you want to know what ezboard really thinks of you as?

I will never ever again sign up for a "free messageboard" account. They all simply suck.

And I realyl rarely bother even posting on such forums. They tend to be slowing and rarely have good discussion going on.

I can't stand ezboard. I signed up with them a while ago, and thier service is soooooo slow, it's unbelievable. I don't know how they expect people to accept and put up with the unbelievably huge adverts that they have stupidity to plaster everywhere. Seriously, ezboard suck. Proboards are better, but the best option (by far) is to host your own forums. You get much more control over them.

I am going to have to disagree. phpBB is a great free bulletin board system, as is Invisionfree. They are usually reliable, and both have good staff. I have also heard good things about Simple Machines Forum.

Same here. You can't count out free forums as being bad. I have used Simple Machines Forum for a while now and have grown to love it. Security is great and the speed is fantastic (even compared to some of the paid ones).

I have to say though that ezboard is definitely not for me. I recall trying to create one of these myself and either I was too dumb to understand how it works or they are just making it more complicated for everyone. I think they want a local and global account also. Never quite got that either.

I used to use Ezboard.com back when I was a n00b.... I hated the service then I found ProBoards.com which was like.... WHOA! compared to Ezboard.com service.
