Hello!
Please help me with this little problem I have. I purchased domain www.final-design.net. Now I pointed my domain name servers to ns1.astahost.com and ns2.astahost.com but how do I make that subdomain of "finaldesign.astahost.com" stop appearing. I want to see only www.final-design.net I tried "domain parking" under Cpanel but it wont work properly and says that I don't have permission to do that. So, is there anyone who can help me and tell me what to do here... Thanks in advance. P.S. I sent Opaque PM yesterday but he is probably busy, so I don't want to disturb him again if someone else can help me... |

OK. there I posted this 2 (two) days ago, and no-one replys. Seems to me people are very busy here.... Anyway just to clear this up:
I changed nameservers to ns1.astahost.com and ns2.astahost.com but still I can't get Domain Parking, I get this error in cpanel: -------------- Sorry, you are not allowed to park common domains. 64.5.44.113,209.152.167.59 Bind reconfiguring on panda using rndc Error reconfiguring bind on panda: rndc: connect failed: connection refused Bind reconfiguring on ns2 using rndc Bind reconfiguring on ns3 using rndc Created DNS entry for final-design.net Setup Mail forward final-design.net -> finaldesign.astahost.com Setup final-design.net OK Adding httpd.conf entry for final-design.net to point to finaldesign.astahost.com --------------- So anyone know's what to do to make this right?? Thanks in advance for help... |

hey what all the problems you are facing ... i was facing too
 Yeah that domain parking problem , now u have turned nameservers to astahost... then give 1 day gap. After that login and park the domain..,. Before 24 hours if you try parking you will get that error you said.. As changing nameservers takes sometime between 24 to 48 hours so be patient. Another solution for your problem is to change your subdomain to domain .. Log in here---- www.astahost.com/process/ And you can see it take 15 credits i guess to make the changes... Make 15+ credits and request domain change there..! and your site will not show astahost in the url  hope that helped your problems. Regards, Casanova |
