If you have the default account (30 credits) do you have to post more to keep your hosting up compared to the starter (10 credits)?
And are credit records kept before you get hosting? Because I didn't know that credits were reset after you get hosting. I had 30, but was planning to conserve credits and went for the starter. XP Thanks. This post has been edited by microscopic^earthling: Jul 16 2005, 06:44 AM |

As I understand it, no, there is no difference between the Starter package and the Default package when it comes to maintaining credits. One Credit is equal to one day for both packages, so you don't need to concern yourself about that.
To answer your second query, no. Once you receive your hosting account, the surplus credits that you are left will be reset to 3 credits [ this goes for both packages ] . It doesn't matter how many credits you've accumulated before you've received your hosting, it will always be reset to 3. From there, you must maintain your hosting credits as they will decrease by 0.1 every 13-14 minutes. I hope this clears up your concerns. Good luck with your hosting. |

Correct one there Chris...it doesn't matter if you have 25 credits or 13 if you get the starter pack, you will drop to 3 credits. I learned this one the hard way I had 22 credits and went for the starter package cause I got impatient and got surprised when I had 3 credits after I got hosted. Remember Grasshoppers, Patence is a Virture. After all lots of doctors have lots of virtue, and they take em to the bank....
