Maybe I should have begun by stating my objective.
I want to begin by downloading to an ftp location on my network all the files pertaining to ffmpeg and vlc, then, whenever I boot Knoppix on one of my PCs, I want to be able to quickly replace the sources.list file to point to this ftp location and run an "apt-get install ffmpeg vlc" I asked the question above because I would like to know what other interesting multiverse software people are downloading and installing on their Debian boxes, and try it out myself. |
