I recently got involved in a Forum software script which is being developed and thought I should let everyone know that they need some assistance in the PHP, MySql, Html, and CSS areas. Also, some Visual Designers would be quite useful.
AEF Forum Software is the name of the project. It is presently in version 1.0.3, and have some pretty cool features already, but in order to advance in its standings against such Boards as IPB, phpbb, Yabb, etc, more features and Themes are required. Good bunch of people working hard, but just not enough of us to do everything. Come have a look and see if you can be of assistance. AEF Forums? |

Hey jlhaslip,
Moved this to a forum that should get a little more interest for you. The project sounds interesting. If I had more time, I might consider getting involved. I have actually been considering doing some work on another forum project. The FireBoard forum system for Joomla! is also in need of developers. The predecessor ran out of steam and recently someone took it, modified it, and released it as a new product. Since the core of the program is the only one that has been specifically designed to be used as a Mambo or Joomla! component, there is a lot of interest in the continued success in the project. I would say the currently the forum component, when coupled with a couple other components, is at about the same level as SMF was about two or three years ago. I hope your project see as much success. It would be nice to have another BBS option. I just wish everyone used the IPB method of user management and authorization. It would make being a webmaster easier! vujsa |

What type of license is AEF licensed under? Just wondering, because I only use open source forum scripts
I have been using QSF for most of my forum usages on my sites. xboxrulz |
