Hi,
Now that I have moved to ComputingHost completely, and I have taken the necessary backups, I would like get unhosted from AstaHost servers. Note: I still want to be a member of AstaHost Forums - just move me to normal member status - and not the 'Hosted' status. |

Just head over to the Process Page and use option 4 from the menu to terminate your hosting account. You'll be returned to the normal forum member state.
Cheers, m^e |

OK. I chose that option and it seems to have removed the hosting account. But I still seem to be in the 'Hosted' groups in the forum. May be you guys need to move me manually to 'Member' group in the IPB admin CP.

Hummm.. something's not worked right, coz you're not only in the HOSTED group - your account isn't deleted either. Lets see if I can do something about it.. or else it's back to good old OpaQue.

Ive had exactly thre same problem with the termination script.
I was hosted over at trap as well for a time but resigned my account when I became a mod here.I still had about 30 creds on my account but i just wanted to remove my site and give trap back thier diskspace;) I used the form to terminate account but from then on Ive still been "Hosted" in the forums. I think its a problem with the script that OpaQue needs to look at. |

I tried to go to that Process Page and terminate again. I gave the forum username and password. It said: QUOTE User Vyoma, Verified sucessfully...

Any admin got a chance to look into this?
I am still seen as hosted. Not really a problem, but I would hate to look at those credit numbers going negetive. |

But thats not the point, Vyoma wants to cancel his hosting but still be able to post here as a "Member" not as a "Hosted" member and not worry about the credits ticking away into the negatives.

I mean, all this while, when my sites were hosted at AstaHost. It was a drive to keep them above 10 atleast. Anything below that would make me hyperventilate. But now that I am hosted at Computing Host - I really do not have to worry. But just to see that hosting credits slip down to the negative irks me a bit. |
