I found nero to be pretty good for burning disks. It's easy to find the type of cd your going to burn in its little StartSmart directory. As for cd ripping, i'm still searching unsure.gif . Nero is good up to a point, because it allows you to rip into mp3"pro" format for 30 songs or so. After that you have to rip it to wma, and i find it annoying when i have to go and convert the songs to mp3.

Google Search brings up a bunch of sites with download and reviews of programs. Why not check out a few of them and see what you can find that works best for you?

CD RIpper Software Review

Daily MP3

These two sites look like they have a lot of programs, so I'm sure you'll find something.

Have you ever tried using iTunes?

just use Media Player 10. it's free and gives u the option to rip to mp3 files. that's the simplest. if you're not ripping off a cd,but just trying to convert, audioconvert is real good... huge selection of formats to convert from/to.

Yeah, iTunes is good for everybody.

iPod owners/users: You can rip cd's quickly and don't have to worry about loading your iPod after ripping (it's automatic).

everybody else: You can choose the option of ripping in mp3. Also you can set it to automatically name all the ID3 tags with the same Album Name and Artist if you like. Saves about 10 minutes, not bad.

I'm a big fan of iTunes. Got converted from Media Player...
