The new front page called something like sharepoint is awsome!
It has pre-made log-in scripts forms & HEAPS OF THINGS! Its the 2007 version & it is great! Trust me |

Please be more specific, give the real name of what you are talking about, and the references or link to where to find it. Don't simply tell us that something you don't remember was nice. What are you exactly talking about ? Are you talking about Microsoft Sharepoint Services ?

I believe you are talking about Microsoft Expression. www.microsoft.com/expression/. It is a suite of tools that can be used to make websites. Nothing special as far as I can tell. I still like to make my own sites and i think this is just a new version of front page under a new name. (with a few extra features)
From the site above, QUOTE Microsoft Expression is a family of tools for professional designers building web and Windows client applications and rich media content.

I dunno about front page, but if you want to make a website you need to know basic programing, i suggest these sites:
http://www.tizag.com/phpT/syntax.php http://www.maketemplate.com/ http://www.w3schools.com/PHP/php_ajax_intro.asp They teach CSS, basic and advanced php along with many other languages, they are all what you need to start from scratch, i learnt everything from their and here on astahost. So if you encounter a problem, don't be shy to ask for help. Edit: Could someone please post some screenshots of these premade scripts? i already made one but if find a better one i'd use it. What features other than premade scripts are their? This post has been edited by khalilov: Nov 8 2008, 05:23 PM |

QUOTE(jellu123 @ Nov 9 2008, 03:44 AM) hi, Im new to this web design.so could you please tell me how to build up my site starting from a front page to end. =========================================== jack seo My suggestion, like khalilov is to make the website yourself. Start off with some simple pages and experiment with code until you are confident enough to start something more ambitious. The best way to start a website is to decide what it is going to be about (usually helps There are many websites where you can get 'templates'. these are the easiest way to get a good looking site up and running in a short amount of time! all you need is some material and some time. If you are only starting off, your websites aren't going to be 'amazing' but you can work on that. Practice more the of 'code' and you can start making more interesting and complicated websites! Good Luck QUOTE Edit: Could someone please post some screenshots of these premade scripts? i already made one but if find a better one i'd use it. What features other than premade scripts are their? These scripts, apparently, are ASP.NET scripts. This is only what I have heard - so don't quote me on that. |
