Infamous street artist Banksy has set up a 'secret' exhibit in a museum in his native Bristol - with only one person knowing about it. It is due to open tomorrow and council officials only found out most of the museums artefacts had been removed - replaced by Banksy's distinctive mash-up of PoMo and urban street art.

He had this to say "This is the first show I've ever done where taxpayers' money is being used to hang my pictures up rather than scrape them off."

well...really nice....who the hell is that guy anyway, and why doesn't he have his own museum(afterall his buyers are robbie williams and brad pitt as i read at the end of the article),but how the hell did they pull it off without any consequences? i think they should be getting some jail time...or thats only in my country (you get 4 years for killing people, and about a year for doing crazy stuff) ...i think he should really make his own museum, and put his work there biggrin.gif

thanks...Eggie

Yeah, I really think it is an urban art-form and should be respected as such - I hate reading stories of clean-shirted bigwigs ordering these unique and masterful pieces to be destroyed.
