Does anyone here know of any good, free online resources for learning ActionScript2.0 from a beginner's standpoint? I really would like to learn it, but I just can't find anything that's helped me out at all. I need something that starts me at the beginning and explains what everything means. I've Googled and Yahoo'd my brains out. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks...

if you can afford to buy books, it's better than those tutorials sites. but beware some flash books is just a replica of tutorial those sites or simply a collection of tutorials

if you want to be able to write your own codes i recommend learning a simpler program language and then that gives you all of the basics and the you can build up eaiser from there. i myself am plannign on learning some programming i am going to learn python first. python may not be used alot but it is a good simple language to learn and then i would learn my way up the languages untill i know them all that would be the best thing that i could do. i could actually imagine myself in 10 years time being to create codes which seem complex to most people but i write them in a matter of monets without testing and not much longer with testing.
